This is not a good photo album interior

Why? Because a photo album is not a book and it must be done to show images, so when you open it you should see a plain effect. For instance I have seen, going random into Google, the following image of wedding album from www.jeffsphotography.com , the site of a professional photographer in Cincinnati (Ohio, USA).

Perché? Perché un album fotografico non è un libro ed è fabbricato per mostrare fotografie, quindi quando lo apri deve darti un effetto piano. Ho visto per esempio, andando a caso su Google, questa immagine tratta da www.jeffsphotography.com , il sito di un fotografo professionista di Cincinnati (Ohio, USA).

In the next post I am going to have a deeper look into his site, becouse I think it could be interesting to observe differences between the italian and the USA photo album market, but now I only want to tell you that if you want a good album you must first of all to avoid to buy one like in the first image. The "book effect" that will be reduced any way by the weight when to stick on picture to the album, it is not a good start, expecially if you want to buy this album to give it to the photographer. He will not like it and, believe me, because of the not flexible binding, it will be broken soon. That's why it is not a good idea to buy this kind of products to the supermarket, because all photo album there will be similar to picture 1. A good wedding album instead, without pictures too, shows itself like in picture 2.

Nel prossimo post ho intenzione di andare un po' più a fondo in questo sito, perché credo sia interessante mostrare alcune differenze tra il mercato americano dell'album fotografico e quello italiano, ma per ora voglio solo dirvi che se volete un buon album dovete innanzitutto evitare di acquistarne uno come in figura 1. Il cosiddetto "effetto libro", che certamente viene affievolito dal peso quando incollate le foto, non è un buon segno, soprattutto se volete comprarlo per darlo al fotografo. Non gli piacerà e, credetemi, a causa della rilegatura non flessibile, si romperà presto. Questo è il motivo per il quale non è una buona idea acquistare questo tipo di prodotti al supermercato, perché lì troverete album fotografici simili alla figura 1; un buon album da matrimonio invece, anche senza fotografie, deve avere un aspetto simile alla figura 2.
